A special thank you to Katherine Walsh who helped me select a microwave and range that was best suited for my needs. The men that installed my new appliances and removed my old ones were very professional and did a great job. A special thank you to Dan who came out in the rain and checked out what was wrong with my outside vent. It turned out to be the weather stripping that came loose and had to be replaced. I'm sure this was something he did not have to do but he installed new weather stripping for me and did all this in the rain. To Matt Bentley and the Staff at Novak and Parker,

I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with the service I received when buying a dishwasher at Novak and Parker.

When my old dishwasher leaked, causing the wooden kitchen floor to buckle and when one of the plastic part s started smoking, I realize d that I needed a new dishwasher. After extensive research, I decided to buy a Bose, German -made dishwasher mainly because of two factor s: the dishwasher parts were almost completely metal and the Bose dishwasher had a 30-minute cycle that could wash light ly-soiled dishes effectively. This last feature was important to me because I often entertain my large extended family and being able to run the dishes through in only 30 minutes was a feature I really wanted.

Matt Bentley was the person who took my order. He was friendly and professional and respectfully listened to what I needed. He quickly filled out the order and I was told the dishwasher would be delivered in a week. It was, while respecting the time frame that I was in that day. As the dishwasher was going through its trial run, I read the manual. To my dismay, I realized that not every Bose model had every feature and unfortunately, the dishwasher that was now running in my kitchen did not have the much-desired 30-minut e cycle feature.

I called Matt Bentley explaining how disappointed I was since the 30-minute cycle was the reason I had purchased the machine in the first place. Matt told me that he would check the order and the machine specifications and would get back to me. In a short time, Matt called me back. He apologized profusely saying that the mistake was totally his and that the dishwasher would be replaced in a week with the model I wanted with no further cost to me and that in the meantime, I could use the current dishwasher.

The dishwasher arrived on March 29 and is working perfectly. I have used the 30-minute cycle during a family party and the dishes came out fine. I have since recommended Novak and Parker to all my family and friends and my sister, who is going to remodel her kitchen, said she will definitely use Novak and Parker for her new appliances.

Dear Mr. Novak,

I worked with Novak + Parker over the summer and had a terrific experience. I had some unusual "as built" conditions and they were extremely helpful brainstorming solutions. In addition, we had to split deliveries as some of my cabinets were wrong. They were exceptional. I had looked at the "other big appliance company from Glenview", as well. Not only did I not get great attention, I actually didn't get a call back from the sales person at that other appliance company. My Bosch rebate was not easy to submit (but it was worthwhile to obtain) but the N+P team made sure everything was taken care of. Matt Bentley and Mark Ramsey were great to work with. The other day my wife, Carol, and I were discussing our experiences with the stores that have been special to us over the years. It was no surprise to either of us that among the very first that came to mind was Novak and Parker. My parents were well served by you when you and they were located in Park Ridge and later when they moved to Arlington Heights. Carol and I have been very satisfied and appreciative customers of yours since we also moved to Arlington Heights over 45 years ago.

Our reliance on you and your staff for quality appliances and superlative service has never been disappointed. You have truly been our advocate in any concerns with quality or service. For example, when the GE refrigerator we purchased from you failed and GE preScribed the wrong computer board replacement, your service staff Sue Hallsten (Service Manager), Elizabeth Christie and Jim Carlisle researched and persisted until the correct computer board was found and the problem was solved. It was a special but usual example of your always putting the customer "First." We have delighted in working with Leo Mills to identify the best appliances for our needs. Full disclosure:

I have been shopping at another Chicago Dealer for over 40 years. But, ever since they moved into the new building, I watched their customer service deteriorate to the point where I felt, and I told this to a sales manager there, as if I were a guppy in the shark tank, waiting to be devoured by ravenous indifferent sales people.

For this reason, when we need a new stove, I decided to shop at several different stores. The sales people at Sears, Best Buy, and H.H. Gregg, were no better, and I knew that if I had any service issues with the stove, I probably would have a major problem.

I had heard about Novak and Parker, from a neighbor years ago, who had a wonderful experience there, and I decided to see if they were still in business. I am happy to report that Novak and Parker is alive and doing well, and are delivering the 'old tyme' customer care that I had no longer been getting at the other dealer. Our salesman, Mike Roberts could not have been nicer. No rush, no pressure......I believe he would have spent all day with us, if we had wanted to stay there that long. In that beautiful showroom, we could have stayed all day. We told him we would think about what we had seen, and, again, there were no 'hard sell' tactics. About a month later, we went back and bought our GE stove. We got a terrific price on a floor model. Installation experts, Jeff and Bobby actually made the delivery experience fun, with their professional, easy going manner. And when I found out I had not measured the distance between our granite counter tops correctly, Bogdan and Mark were sent out to correct my mistake. They calmed me down, and an hour later, our stove was perfectly installed. And Novak and Parker service everything they sell. It may sound like it, but I did not know anyone anyone at Novak and Parker before our first visit. If you are looking for a great appliance shopping experience, give them a try.

We want to thank you for all your hard work in providing us with top quality appliances and service in the construction of our new home.

You were extremely helpful to us regarding all our purchases of both indoor and outdoor appliances. We heard great things about the Novak & Parker team from our builder and on site-construction manager. Your team was terrific to work with and extremely efficient in installing everything according to plan. They also took great care in the installation of all of the appliances.

Your attention to detail, quick responsiveness, in-depth product knowledge and going above and beyond attitude, were very much noticed and appreciated. Your installation team was really outstanding (and I've seen many over the years). They were thorough and professional, took the extra time to make sure each piece of equipment was plumb and aligned as well so that the counter would sit properly on top (which it did). The dryer venting connection looks much better than the prior install. They clearly know what they're doing and are perfectionists, something that really benefits your clients.

The equipment looks great too and I'm sure we'll enjoy using it.

I wanted to pay Mark and Jeff, the gentlemen that delivered my refrigerator last Saturday a huge compliment. It was a seamless delivery. They both knew what they were doing, paid attention to my home and cleanliness, and helped me with any questions once installed. I wish all vendors I have used in the past could be so good. Hi Matt

Well installation is complete and everything looks spectacular! It was such a right call to go with the stainless refrig. They worked so hard and getting the recirculating part on the hood was a bear for them. I am not sure of the installer's name beside Eric but whoever he was he was FANTASTIC! He had to make range fit properly in spite of the gas line and floor outlet...a challenge but he did it. The countertops will be installed on Monday and then Greg has a few things to tweak to make the custom microwave box and then all that's left is putting the new door on the dishwasher.

In the summer of 2011, we began our research for appliances for our luxury kitchen build-out as part of our twelve month full home renovation. I remodeled my kitchen in the summer of 2012. For anyone who has ever done this, you know all that is involved in getting the project completed! So it's important to have people working with you who know their business and can get the job done.

When I decided to buy new appliances, I shopped at several places including Novak & Parker. Prices were competitive at most of the stores; however, what differentiated N&P was the outstanding level of service before, during and after my purchase. And Matt Bentley was largely responsible for that...

Matt is very knowledgeable about the appliances. He and Lena were a terrific team. I bought a refrigerator, microwave, range, and dishwasher. And I had a whole lot of questions about operation, installation, etc.! Matt patiently took the time to answer specific product questions and he researched the questions to which he didn't know the answers. He followed up with me on every question. I felt like I could make an informed decision based on all this information.

Prior to installation, I called Matt several times to address installation questions. He worked with his installation team to meet my needs. In one case, I had to move the actual installation date at the last minute because of a delay in construction. Matt worked with me to make that happen.

After the kitchen was completed, I had an issue with the warranty for the dishwasher. I had purchased an extended warranty from Meile. Even though the warranty was directly with Meile, Matt worked tirelessly to make sure Meile had my dishwasher registered for the extended warranty. This involved numerous emails and phone call on his part. He took the initiative to get the situation corrected promptly. His perseverance paid off! The warranty is in place.
